Two piece or more multiple section Driveline (uses support bearing) assemblies are factory balanced as a complete assembly when manufactured. By altering any part of the assembly you risk the chance of upsetting the balance of the entire assembly. Even though the Driveline Disconnect Shaft is delivered to you in a high speed balanced state, it is not balanced (matched) to the original assembly. Most but not all vehicle manufacturers warn and state on their Driveshafts, balanced as a complete assembly. We're advising you that although very rare, you may develop a vibration if installing a non-matched component (Disconnect Shaft) into your original assembly. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the balance of your multiple (2) piece assemblies once you've replaced the rear section with a non-matched shaft. As stated above, this is a rare situation, but if a vibration does occur, You will need to have the entire assembly re-balanced at a professional Driveline facility of your choice at your expense. As an alternative, you may return your complete assembly to us, shipping both ways at your expense and we will balance your assembly at no charge. You may also make an appointment and bring the vehicle to us for the same (balance only) free service other than any labor costs which you would be responsible for.
You should be familiar with driveshaft assemblies, how they work and the terminology that's used by our industry in order to glean the appropriate information that we require.
Some installations will require you to remove original stock components and re-install them onto your driveline coupler shaft at time of installation.
